Department of legal and technical information and communication (SJTI)

The SJTI reports to the Prime Minister and it prepares legislation, regulations and government decisions relative to the press and audiovisual production. It also participates in the definition and application of government policy with regard to the media and communication services.

This office, in conjunction with the other departments concerned, contributes to defining and applying government policy with a view to modernising the technologies, media and networks used by the communications services.
