  This temporary opportunity is for team/group leaders and project managers to
  work an on-site assignment in Cairo, Egypt and surrounding areas.  The job
  involves the installation and splicing of copper and fiber optic cables, both in
  the aerial plant (on poles) and especially in buried plant (direct in-ground
  burial, conduits, etc).  The work is expected to begin about August 1, 1999, and
  run for 2 years, with the possibility of extension for up to another 2 years. 
  Our client located in Piscataway, NJ has an immediate need for team/group
  leaders and project managers with 2-3 yrs. Experience.

  REQUIRED:  The appropriate candidates will have knowledge about construction
  techniques for the physical plant, familiarity with cables, mounting and
  connecting hardware, termination equipment at both the customer’s and the CO
  end, installation of roadside equipment cabinets for electronic equipment, the
  powering of such equipment (connecting to the power grid, installing back-up
  batteries, etc.), and the management of people who do these kinds of physical
  installations.
