Powerful symbolism, the royal returns to the land of Oglethorpe, proclaiming his heritage. This dedication was no slumber party, nor was it about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream of equality. A management core that is 97% white and a workforce 93% white, "Lord of the Manor" and Slumberland USA Corp. represent reoccurring nightmares of absolutism, despotism and feudalism. England's Monarchy's support of Slumberland's southern plantation management style sends a very clear message to blacks in Georgia. Obviously, royalty supports the heritage of slavery, segregation and institutionalized racism represented by Georgia's flag. Heirs of slavery, the House of Windsor, bears special responsibility having ruled the leading slave trading nation for more than three hundred years. The Treaty of Paris (1783) abandoned African slaves without reparations; England sacrificed them to a value of 3/5ths whites in its former American colonial possessions. The Prince's return puts the British monarchy back in the slave business in Georgia. Retrospectively, during the first decade of the last century, Ida B. Wells paraded and beat drums for blacks in America, hoping to awaken the world about lynching, discrimination, segregation and genocide. When blacks were massacred in places, such as Greenwood, OK and Rosewood, FL, England, France, Germany and the rest of Europe turned a blind eye and a deaf ear. In the 1950s, Paul Roberson and Malcolm X pleaded for international intervention on behalf of slave descendants; no one heeded their calls. Dr. King was shot down, like a dog by those who sing his praises today, and yet nothing changed. In 2000, our situation is just as dire. Our pleas are no less urgent. Research funded by the Richard L. Kirksey, Jr. Memorial Foundation shows blacks are being re-segregated based on economic status in America. America is asking Europe to support re-segregation by adopting trade policies, which amount to slavery for blacks. Pres. Bill Clinton and Congress (H-1B) are pushing trade legislation to increase import quotas for European immigrants. They propose easing visa requirements, lowering qualifications, providing training and giving financial assistance to thousands of Europeans, who will be recruited for jobs American companies refuse to hire blacks to perform. Finding qualified blacks is not the problem, rather access to and denial of training form the glass ceiling for blacks. Millions of black professionals are stuck in dead-end low paying jobs because companies refuse to hire slaves' descendants. Slumberland is a perfect example. Contradicting America's claim of a tight labor market, millions of unemployed and underemployed are a part of America's huge black labor pool of the uncounted. Drawing from this pool, temporary employment agencies, America's new slave masters, keep wages low. Trapped in an unending cycle of "last hired and first fried," black income levels are controlled. Clinton/Gore's "Welfare to work" has put young single mothers on the slave block trying to raise their families. The gap between black and white family income has remained within the stable interval .5 to .65 relatively speaking since slavery. Begun by English prisoners, Georgia's prison population is 80% black reflecting its commitment to lynching, re-segregation and genocide. Georgia's Governor Roy Barnes' affirmative action record shows whites receive 83% of all state contracts and state jobs. "Taxation without representation," is the yoke blacks in South DeKalb County wear today. They pay a one-cent sales tax for rail service, but cannot get a train. Gov. Barnes has diverted DeKalb's tax money to pay for a train to serve whites that do not pay the tax. Calling the cornerstone of his re-segregation plan educational reform, rather than education, it is behavior modification. Once in place, it will result in more whites teaching black children and less money spent on educating children stuck in "failing schools." While Democrats like Bill Clinton and Barnes engage in trade talks, young unarmed black men are being murdered by police with impunity. This new form of lynching needs Europeans, Asians and Arabs to serve as buffers to protect descendants of masters from slaves. Finally Mr. Blair, a disciple of Lester Maddox, Gov. Barnes leads a small but determined group of lynchers. Their fathers and grandfathers held blacks in virtual slavery as late as the 1950s. These men will never accept their former property as equals. Today, many feel the federal government's actions in 1863 abolishing slavery, illegally deprived them of their property. Adhering to a strict interpretation of the Constitution, they believe this legal technicality means blacks are still their property. The Confederate battle emblem in Georgia's flag represents their heritage of ownership of blacks and lynching. Following the Monarchy's warm embrace of Barnes' heritage, our question is Mr. Blair does England's Labour government supports this heritage? Attempting to counter the John Rocker mindset, Georgians are planning a boycott of the state, if Gov. Barnes prevents a vote to remove the Confederate battle emblem from the state flag. Mr. Blair, we are appealing to you and your government to withhold any support for Georgia projects until the state changes its flag, a symbol of blatant racism. Also, we ask that you pressure private companies and citizens to withdraw investments, as well as, cancel any trips to Georgia. As former slave traders, slave descendants are asking Great Britain and the rest of Europe to speak out against America's denial of reparation for slavery, segregation, institutionalized racism and genocide. Furthermore, we ask that these same parties withhold support and/or business from any state officially displaying Confederate battle emblems. Thanks for your prompt attention to what matters.
