As I understand you may be know something about Costa Rica and chemical science of Costa Rica. I am working in field of using acetates of cellulose produced from sugar cane (bagasse) wastes which formed in trifluoroacetic asid liquid crystalline solutions like wood cellulose esters. It s more then important problem for Third World s countries. My scientific leader Prof. Khanchich is working in this field for many years since time of USSSR, in that time he was working with Cuba s chemists. He speak Spanish very well. He was working on Cuba during some years in early of the nineties and so he sent simples and data about it to Russia also he chemicalized it on Cuba and etc. It is usual practice. Now I am working with such problems only with use of direct solvents of sugar cane. But we would like collaborate with scientists from others countries of South America may be Costa Rica (It have greatest quantity of production sugar cane after Cuba) because modern conditions on Cuba don t allow to work in usual conditions. I hope you know about like problems from mass communication. I believe that may be you have possibility help us in our problems with simples and objects of study. If you know about Costa Rica scientists or have other information about it please supply us such data or you may advise what I may get so information I will be very obliged you for your attention. I hope on your collaboration in this question. I should take it kindly if you would answer my letter With best regards, Dmitry Loshadkin. ********************************** Dmitry V.
